Anna Nicole Smith: Viewed gay videos of two important men in her life?

By now you may have heard that former MSNBC journalist Rita Crosby has written a book. You may even have heard that the book has caused an uproar within the estate of recently deceased Anna Nicole Smith. The book alleges that Larry Birkhead, proven to be the biological father of Anna Nicole Smith’s baby girl Dannielynn and Howard K. Stern, Smith’s significant other (with whom she had a “commitment ceremony”) were gay lovers who frequently performed oral sex on each other, and that Smith would often watch videos of the pair engaged in sexual acts.

From AceShowbiz:

It is revealed in the book how Anna and her friend allegedly caught Stern and Birkhead with their shirts off and their pants around their ankles in a Los Angeles home. "Their bodies were intermingled," Rita wrote in her book quoting revelations by Jackie Hatten, a woman who claimed herself as Smith's best friend. "It was obvious what was happening."

The book also claims that Stern and Birkhead had an agreement that Birkhead would get the baby and that Stern would be named the executor of Smith’s estate, in an effort to manipulate the media and maximize profits.

The information about Birkhead and Stern being gay lovers came first from Jackie Hatten, who describes herself as a “onetime friend” of Anna. Hatten’s brother is currently in prison for stalking and threatening Smith. A onetime nanny who worked for Smith allegedly walked in on Anna Nicole laying on her bed, laughing to the video of Birkhead and Stern engaged in sexual acts with one another. Where Rita Crosby got all the pieces of this bizarre puzzle to put together in her book will probably never be known. But Hatten describes Crosby as being “very credible”, and says she’s confident that the facts in the book are true.

Birkhead and Stern have threatened to sue Crosby, due to the allegations in the book. Crosby was quoted by WTOP NEWS as saying:

"We also knew what Birkhead would say because we've seen him inconsistent on many other things," she told AP Tuesday, adding that the book cites numerous sources and was "carefully vetted through attorneys at our publishing house."

"I have nothing to hide," she said. "I make no apologies for the book, and at the end of the day, the American public will see that these two men conspired to fool us all."
